Anvil at St. Hilda’s Church in Bearwood 21st June 2024
The photographs were taken at this event on 21 June when we were billed as the main entertainment alongside a Jazz Trio who are students at the Conservatoire. We had our longest singing set ever with 14 chorus songs; a quartet demonstration and two quartet performances all of which were well appreciated by the audience, so much so a return visit in the future seems likely
Coaching with Glen Chaney
Front row extreme right is Glenn Chaney, Music Director from Grand Central Chorus, who provided anvil with some excellent coaching during our rehearsal on 28th February 2023.
Club Awards.
At the presentation evening on Friday 17th February Victor Wong was awarded the Barbershopper of the year and David Williams was awarded the Anvil Rose Bowl.
